Okavango & Chobe
A river that flows into the desert and never reaches the sea — Africa's most surreal wildlife habitat.
About Okavango & Chobe
The Okavango Delta is one of the wildlife wonders of the world — a river that spills into the Kalahari and never makes it to the ocean, creating a vast inland wetland where elephants, lions, and hippos live year-round. Nearby Chobe National Park has the highest elephant density on Earth. The Trek overland stops in Kasane (on the Chobe River), and we run the fringe of the Chobe floodplain at first light — keep your eyes open, because the plains game starts moving at dawn. Country #4 on the Victoria Falls collector run.
