Marrakesh & the Atlas
Medinas, mountain lodges, and Sahara sunsets — Trek's most flavourful tour.
About Marrakesh & the Atlas
Marrakesh is the spiritual heart of Morocco — the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Koutoubia minaret, spice markets, and a labyrinthine medina that's been trading for a thousand years. Trek uses Marrakesh as the staging point for the Casablanca Marathon tour, then pushes south into the High Atlas Mountains (Imlil, Ouirgane) and eventually the edge of the Sahara at Merzouga. Morning runs at every stop: medina streets at sunrise, mountain trails at lodge altitude, and one unforgettable run across the first Saharan dune field.
